1955

Schaffer Corporation Ltd (originally named Calsil Pty Ltd) incorporated by George Schaffer AM and a group of enthusiastic shareholders/supporters including Mr Albert Jobling.

1963

Calsil lists on the Perth stock exchange in November 1963 and starts growing as a national brick and later paving company.

1966

Calsil becomes the first Western Australian public company to establish manufacturing branches in the Eastern States.

1972

John Schaffer starts with the company.

1980

Delta Corporation Ltd is purchased

1984

The Leather division commences with the establishment of Gosh Leather Pty Ltd.

Danielle Blain joins the company to manage the new Leather division.

1987

George Schaffer AM retires from executive role.

John Schaffer appointed Managing Director.

1988

John Schaffer appointed Chairman after George Schaffer AM passes away.

Calsil's core business (bricks and paving) is sold to Boral Ltd (along with the Calsil name).

The name of the company is changed to Schaffer Corporation Ltd in honour of its founder

1993

The Urbanstone factory is established in Jandakot, Western Australia.

Australian Leather Holdings Ltd is established.

1994

The Investment Property portfolio commences.

Howe & Company Pty Ltd is purchased.

2006

Limestone Resources Australia Pty Ltd is acquired.

2007

Archistone Pty Ltd is acquired.

Australian Leather Holdings becomes Howe Automotive Ltd.

2013

Schaffer Corporation Limited (previously Calsil Limited) celebrates being a publicly listed company for 50 years.
